Thanksgiving, Part Three

Once we made it back home to Austin from our family obligations in Houston, we decided we would celebrate our own, little Gupton family, Thanksgiving feast. With August getting older and our family growing bigger, it's important that we start creating traditions and making memories as our own individual little family. It really was a lot of fun to just stay home all day and enjoy one another's company in complete relaxation. We played the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade that we recorded while we were gone, because let's face it, what's Thanksgiving without the parade? I pulled out my notebook that has some of my favorite Langford family holiday recipes, and compiled a few new ones off of the internet. While Kevin took charge of frying our turkey breasts and making the port cranberry sauce, I took charge of the cornbread dressing, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, lemon meringue pie, and pumpkin cheesecake pie. It really was a fabulous first Little Gupton Thanksgiving, I look forward to continuing the tradition again next year!
