Week One

Our first full week with Otis, as a family of four, flew by in a flash. While I'll spare you every little detail of our new life, some of the notables from our week included coming home from the hospital, lots of snuggles and naps, a couple of brief visits from family, many attempted photoshoots, a strawberry cake by Kevin, and the end of Momo's stay. I'll let the rest of the photos speak for themselves, but I can definitely say that all of us are completely smitten with our new tiny bundle, who has so far proven to be a champion of eating, sleeping, and all things newborn. Let's hope it keeps up.

Hello World, My Name is Otis!

After nine months of eager anticipation, we're happy to announce that August's baby brother has made his arrival! The 7lb 12oz, 18 1/2" long bundle, finally blessed us with his presence this past Thursday. Our hearts are completely overflowing with thankfulness yet again for this beautiful little life that we have been entrusted.

Happy Birthday, Kevin!

My beloved was born on this day, thirty five years ago. I could not imagine being married to a more intelligent, gifted, humble, caring, and supportive human being. He always puts his little family's needs first, taking such great care of us day in and day out. We are beyond lucky to be able to call him our husband and our Papa. Happy Birthday, Kevin!

Valentines Day Celebrated

Kevin and I were going to be gone before August got up for the day, so we decided to spread a little homemade cheer around the house after our love bug drifted off to sleep the night before. Oh, and of course we added mini-cupcakes to the plate at the very last minute...
