The day after August's party, Kevin flew off to Virginia for work. He got home late on a Thursday, and we woke up the next day only to pack up and leave again. This time, we headed down to Corpus Christi via Floresville to attend a winging ceremony for Kevin's cousin Shawn. We quickly unpacked our car and the dogs, changed clothes, and loaded up into Kevin's parent's suburban for the family trek down to Corpus. The ceremony was nice, and we thoroughly enjoyed the mini-reception afterwards with several other members of the extended family. Once the car full loaded up on free cappuccino-esque concotions, we loaded back up once again for the trip to Floresville. Thankfully the rest of the weekend was a much slower paced time full of eating, relaxing, and a bit of park playing with the cousins.
