August had a great first month check-up though that came as no real surprise considering we've had appointments weekly up to this point. He's in the 25% for head circumference, 75% for length, and 10% for weight. He had gained almost 4oz in a week (maybe it wasn't exactly a dry diaper...shhh!) but apparently 7lbs 15oz isn't enough to convince them that we can slack off on our weekly appointments. Oh well, perhaps we will find out that we are in the 8lb category later this week!
In other news, we've still been enjoying guests eager to meet the newest family member. We celebrated a beautiful Saturday with a visit from Kevin's brother Craig, and his daughter Renee. They enjoyed some of the local trailer eateries, and then we all hit the trail. On Monday of this week, my cousin Julie brought her family by for a great indoor picnic!
