We had an exceptionally low-key Easter Sunday. We were up in the Waco area until late in the evening on Saturday, and didn't make it home to Austin until fairly late. Between two overly tired boys, and two overly caffeinated parents, we didn't get to bed until way past our normal bedtimes. We all woke up groggy, and some of us were a little cranky and defiant. So August enjoyed sifting through his Easter loot, while the rest of us tried very hard to wake up. Thanks to a bad attitude and a mandatory afternoon nap, there was no Easter egg hunt for the Gupton family this year. . Let's just say that we happily traded some puddle jumping for egg hunting this year! And given his age, I think this is the last year that August will be none the wiser.
it was a giraffe sleep machine, umbrella, jump rope, rhythm stick, pocket kite, train engine, magnifying glass, and gummy bear year for August.
and a stuffed bunny, lamb rattle, wooden rattle, spare pacifier, and pacifier clip year for Otis.
