Twenty Months

It's a bit difficult to comprehend that our little love bug is already twenty months old. The first year felt just that, a whole year, full of adaptation, development, and discovery. The past eight months however, have merely felt like a matter of weeks.
They have not disappointed however. We are still in just as much awe of his accomplishments and achievements now as we were in those first few months of his life. More often than not, you will hear us ask one another 'is this normal?'. He is constantly surprising us with his observations of the environment. Naturally it has us questioning if we're doing enough to feed the sponge that is his toddler mind.  But as long as he keeps bringing us books to read, pointing to specific letters to sound out, and observing birds, airplanes, and of course the moon up in the sky, we will keep encouraging the wonder.
