Our second Christmas celebration had us enjoying a nice, quiet 24 hours at home in Austin. We arrived home from Kevin's parents, unpacked, threw in the laundry, repacked, put August to bed and got to work constructing his big present from us. After a restful nights sleep in our own beds, we woke up to a joyful little family celebration.
Since our families do the majority of the spoiling for us, we are able to keep our own little Christmas celebration quite small and simple. We had a wonderful morning of slowly opening presents, playing with all of our toys, and leisurely repacking for our trip up to my parents. We're so thankful that we are able to take the time amidst the chaos of travel and family gatherings to spend some quite moments together.
