Friday Fun Day

Kevin took a much needed day off of work today, so we decided to have a little local fun! A neighbor recently told me about a tree-shaded, splash pad in a pocket park just a couple of miles from our house. So after lunch, we made it our mission to go check it out. Augie opted to observe all of the big kids playing and running around before deciding to take the plunge with the help from daddy. After experiencing the initial soaking, he was all about trying to fill his little HEB cup and pour the contents out in the park. Once the pad became fairly crowded, we journeyed over to the slide to dry off. Finally, on our way home we stopped at the frozen yogurt shop right down the street that we've always meant to try. Kevin and I thought it was just alright, but we may be taking August back for more of the dairy-free mango!
